Mariinsky Theatre Orchestra with Valery Gergiev and Denis Matsuev. U.S. tour begins

From 24 to 29 October 2012 four concerts of Denis Matsuev as a soloist will take place in the U.S. The concert tour program includes works by Brahms and Shostakovich.

On October 24th Denis Matsuev with the London Symphony Orchestra  will perform the Piano Concerto № 1 by Brahms in Avery Fisher Hall (Lincoln Center, New York) as a part of a concert cycle "Lincoln Center presents great performers".

On October 27th the Orchestra and Denis Matsuev will perform in the Concert hall of the University of Michigan (Ann-Arbor, Michigan). Program: Piano Concerto № 1 by D. Shostakovich. The same program will be performed in Newark (New Jersey) on October 28th. Another concert Denis Matsuev and the Mariinsky Theatre Orchestra with Valery Gergiev will give at the Memorial Hall of the University of North Carolina (Chapel Hill) on October 29th. The program includes a performance of the Piano Concerto № 1 by D. Shostakovich.
